What do we need from you so you can do the job?
You will need to have accomplished a Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent and an NVQ 2 in Business Administration or equivalent.
You'll be carrying out general administrative duties within the healthcare department of the prison. Working within set routines, policies and procedures to provide a comprehensive high quality service to the unit, and able to deal efficiently and courteously with patients and staff enquiries. You will need to have experience with using SystmOne or a similar patient based IT software.
A key responsibility is the collection and collation of accurate service performance data for internal and external reporting requirements. Therefore, we require all applicants to have an advanced level of Excel so you are able to effective group, filter and sort through data. The situation in the prison can change at any minute. You need to be able to communicate effectively, work as part of a team and follow instruction diligently.
It’s this variety that keeps things fresh and stimulating. You'll need to be confident in a prison setting as the office will be based on a prison wing.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30.
