Are you looking for some additional working hours or to gain experience working in a custodial setting?
We are currently looking for a Bank Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant within HMP Stocken, a category C men’s closed training prison.
Working as a Bank Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant offers you flexibility and workplace variety. You would also be assisting the wider permanent team, covering for planned and unplanned absences.
What do we need from you?
You will be required to assist with general dispensary/pharmacy area duties and stock management within the prison pharmacy area. Supporting the pharmacy/healthcare team to ensure the provision of a timely and efficient pharmacy/medicines management service to the treatment areas on prison wings.
Ideally you will hold NVQ Level 2, BTEC or equivalent qualifications in Pharmacy. You will also have relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment.
If you are self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as showing plenty of initiative when it comes to handling a wide range of situations, then this could be the right role for you!

This is a bank role working shifts as and when required to cover holiday and sickness. The rate of pay is £11.36 per hour.
