Job Summary

Are you an experienced administrator looking to be part of a team who are passionate about providing safe, reliable and patient focused care? Then we want to hear from you! We have an exciting opportunity to join our outpatient team on a fixed term basis for six months.

At Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet, our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings.

About the role

Supported by our experienced Outpatient Manager, Ewa, you will provide a smooth, effective and safe patient check in and arrival service to all patients at the hospital. This will include greeting and registering patients, ensuring that Covid risk assessments are completed and liaising with nursing and reception staff to ensure the smooth running of clinics.

You will have relevant administration experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to stay calm in difficult circumstances. Just as important though is your flexibility, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative as well as your ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
