Supported by a very robust Clinical Governance Process, Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet is the first independent sector hospital to have been rated Outstanding on all five domains by the CQC (2017).
As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will offer be able to offer an expert clinical opinion on a range of gynaecological problems as well as providing in-patient and out-patient care for patients with common gynaecological problems. Supported by the hospital’s Medical Director, Jac, you will work closely with clinical colleagues in order to enhance the level of patient care in the unit.
With a current registration with the GMC’s specialist register of obstetrics and gynaecology you’ll have several years’ experience, at least 2 of which are within the UK. You are committed to your own continuing medical education and professional development. We will also support you to ensure ongoing medical competence through participation in the annual revalidation and reaccreditation schemes of the GMC.
The Mendip Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, are only a few miles away. The beautiful Cathedral city of Wells and Glastonbury have high ranking state- and independent schools. Frome and Castle Cary have direct train links to London. If you are from outside of the area, we are able to offer a generous relocation package.
