We are recruiting for a salaried GP to work at our Wandsworth practice - delivering safe and effective care, contributing to the development of the service, achieving high QOF performance and maintaining a Good CQC rated service.
About Practice Plus Group
Run by Practice Plus Group, this is a family-friendly NHS doctor’s surgery with 9000 registered patients and a GP access hub service in a modern premise. The services provide the community of Wandsworth with treatment and advice for a range of minor illnesses and injuries and, long term condition management. We also provide the usual range of primary care services including immunisations, coil clinics and phlebotomy.
We have a well-established team of salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Prescribing Pharmacist, Practice Nurse and HCA.
The Practice is an active member of the Primary Care Network (PCN) and is involved in new projects to change the delivery of Primary Care. We have recruited physiotherapist, prescribing pharmacists, paramedics, physician associates and social prescribers to expand the care we provide to our patients.
About the role
This unique role presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified GP who would like to work closely with the Lead GP in management and service development. As part of PPG, we can provide you with the support and the tools to grow into the role and offer you the chance to develop and diversify your career.
To meet the criteria for consideration, you must be a practicing General Practitioner and hold the following;
• Qualified GP
• Inclusion in the GMC Register.
• On the Performers List.
The job is a permanent part time (min 14 hours) opportunity. This comes with a generous salary of £90,000 per annum (pro rata if part-time), with additional reimbursement of indemnity costs and other benefits.
