Practice Plus Group are seeking an experienced Regional Manager for our Surrey IUC (Integrated Urgent Care) services!
As the Regional Manager you will lead the team to provide innovative, energetic, quality patient focused care which delivers the committed margin.
You will understand the aspirations of the wider local health economy and find positive solutions for the challenges being faced so that the units become an integral and increasing part of the health system. A good grasp of the sector dynamics at both a National and Regional level is required, as well as an understanding of the strategic direction for healthcare delivery. This will include the legislative framework within which it operates and an ability to navigate a complex stakeholder environment.
As the Regional Manager, you must manage our healthcare sites within your cluster in accordance with CQC and other statutory requirements.
To lead on all aspects of day to day client relationships for IUC services commissioned within the region.
To maintain a close working partnership with service delivery colleagues across the whole network, acting as internal customer, providing assurance and acting as a subject matter expert for the IUC service provided to local commissioners and essential in developing the future IUC service and delivering IUC growth for Practice Plus Group.
To ensure compliance to indicators relating to quality, budgetary management and performance of NHS 111 and Out of Hours services through line management of the respective Service Managers, Patient & Stakeholder Engagement Leads & relationship with Contact Centre Managers for those contracts within the geography.
1.Develop and maintain constructive relationships with Commissioners and other key stakeholders such as NHSE, ambulance services, OOH providers, sub-contractors and Urgent Healthcare working groups.
2.Support and advise Service Managers & Call Centre Managers to ensure the safe and effective delivery of contracted services.
3.Provide clear, timely and accurate reporting to external stakeholders/commissioners , including overseeing and assuring the production and monitoring of reports provided by the IUC team, such as quality reports and rectification action plans, to ensure that these are in line with contractual and relationship requirements.
4.Help establish and maintain Practice Plus Group as the first choice provider of IUC for the region, including participating in service development or bid opportunities – this may not be limited to in-region developments or bids, but may be influenced by workload.
5.To work with IUC SMT on the design, development and implementation plans for IUC services, driving innovation, supporting improvement initiatives in service efficiency and quality.
6.Monitor and share best practice developments in IUH commercial development and contracting.
Who We're Looking For...
Experience of service or contract management at a senior level in a healthcare environment.
Evidence of continuing education and development.
Ability to collaborate constructively with internal and external partners to create the conditions of successful partnership working.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers.
Able to travel to other regional sites and Practice Plus Group offices.
