Practice Plus Group’s mission is Access to Excellence. Our core values are;

we treat patients and each other as we would like to be treated
we act with integrity
we embrace diversity
we strive to do things better together

Patients can only access excellence if we commit to living our values in everything we do when we’re at work. We believe in putting the patient first, regardless of the environment or their history. The prison population is one of the most vulnerable and challenged patient groups in society and the delivery of their health care is conducted within often difficult and demanding environments.

About the role

As the Clinical Practice Educator you will work with the Training and Apprenticeship team to support and coach clinical apprentices within Health in Justice. You will be responsible for arranging the apprenticeship placements and supporting them to gain the most from their learning experience. You will enhance the quality of the practice learning environment, through the provision of support, advice and clinical education sessions. You will be a strong leader who always leads by example and provides inspiration to learners to help them achieve their full potential.

About you

You will be a Registered Nurse with current professional registration with NMC. You will have a minimum of 2 years post registration experience of clinical practice within any nursing field. You will have a proven track record of recently supporting learners in practice, excellent communication and time management skills.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week on a salary of up to £38,000 depending on experience. The role is home based but you will be responsible for sites nationally.

Please note that offers of employment are subject to Practice Plus Group Terms & Conditions and receipt of satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check and prison vetting.

At Practice Plus Group we actively promote diversity and equal opportunities and we are committed to this in both the running of our prison healthcare service and how we recruit our staff. We actively encourage applications from everyone with the essential requirements of the job, regardless of any protected characteristics.
