Job Summary
Practice Plus Group are searching for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team at the Practice Plus Group Diagnostics, Buckinghamshire on a full time basis. Evening and weekend shifts are included in this role.
The role will be based within a busy working environment offering patients a range of Diagnostic Imaging procedures. It requires an individual with the ability to work effectively as a multi professional team member within a fast pace environment.
Responsible To
The post holder will be patient focused, being able to assist patients in all modalities is required, showing a real empathy to patients and their needs.
Duties will involve supporting the diagnostic clinicians with their clinics and assisting with all aspects of imaging which includes; preparing clinic rooms for examinations, helping position patients for procedures and undertaking administrative tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
The applicant will have:
• Experience of working in a customer care environment and able to communicate well with excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team as well as prioritise own workload.
• Knowledge of basic patient care
• Ability to carry out tasks in a busy environment and follow instruction with a willingness to learn.
• A knowledge of basic IT skills although onsite training will be provided
