Job Summary

Then we want to hear from you. We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our team on a part time basis, working every Thursday and Friday.

Our clean, modern and comfortable hospital in Somerset specialises in planned surgery for NHS, private and insured patients, and we offer high quality treatment in a wide range of specialties.

About the role

You will be working as part of a friendly, professional and expert team supported by our Pharmacy Lead, Gemma, to assist in the provision a pharmacy service for inpatients, outpatients and day patients using the hospital. This will include providing professional, accurate and high quality advice to services across the hospital to ensure legal, safe and effective medicines optimisation. You will also provide assurance to the senior management team that medicines use and management is safe and effective.
You will be an experienced GPhC registered Pharmacist with knowledge of the legal requirements for the supply and storage of medications and controlled drugs. It would be an advantage if you have experience of working in a hospital environment but it is not essential.
