About the role
You will be a qualified Registered Nurse (Adult) with a real passion for developing your clinical skills in an environment that is ever changing. You can expect to be involved in everything from clinical triage, suturing, wound care and fracture clinics to the evaluation and development of patient care and standards. You’ll carry out nurse-led clinics, reviewing patient histories, undertaking relevant examinations and tests, organising any necessary treatment and referring patients to other healthcare professionals when you need to.

Interested in clinical development?
We offer opportunities to develop in to a specialist role of your interest which in turn benefits the service. Examples include ANP, BBV, sexual health, plastering, ILS (intermediate life support), health promotion, phlebotomy, vaccinations, suturing, wound care, RCGP, and long term condition courses.
This is a part-time, permanent role working 28.5 hours per week.
At HMP Guys Marsh we deliver a full primary care and mental health service from 07:30-18:00, seven days per week.
You will be expected to fit into the rotas as part of your role (from 07:30 -18:00). This is be based on 2 or 3 days per week. Weekends are approximately 1 in 3.
