We are looking for an experienced Training & Development Practitioner to join our Portsmouth and Southampton Urgent Treatment Centre team. As part of our professional, friendly and inclusive team you will develop, co-ordinate, support and deliver the provision of high quality clinical education and training for Urgent Treatment Staff (UTC), supporting specialist training in minor injuries and illnesses..

About the role
You will support the Clinical Lead in the development of practice in line with organisational, local, national and government policies, priorities and legislation. You will influence delivery of patient care through specialist advice to learners and practitioners in order to enhance their skills and knowledge. This will include 1 to 1 working as well as group training as required. This will be recorded as evidence of supervision. You would be expected to support the Clinical Lead with clinical supervision and training of junior staff, monitor progress and completion of workbooks and provide updates to the Lead and Managers re. Issues raised during supervision and training. You will also include workforce development, working with the Clinical Lead and the Education and Governance Lead to lead on initiatives to facilitate the development of the workforce across the Urgent Treatment Centres . You will work between both sites supporting training and development and clinical supervision in the week and a minimum of one day a week clinically seeing, treating and managing patients.
