Job Summary

Are you an experienced Theatre Nurse or ODP looking to pick up ad-hoc Bank shifts with a friendly team? Do you have the passion to make a difference to patients? If so, look no further, as we could have the job for you!
We are looking for multi skilled practitioners with post qualification experience to join our team at a Good rated, modern, purpose built Hospital. As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team you will do everything you can to ensure the patient’s treatment is of the highest standard.

About the role

You will be working as part of a welcoming and expertly led multidisciplinary Theatre Team supported by our newly appointed Theatre Manager, Hannah Henriques. There is no night working, no Sunday's, no bank holidays and there is no on-call! You can have more time to do the things you love doing.
You will be a part 1 registered NMC Nurse with experience or a HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner with experience in Scrub or Anaesthetics. As well as being up to date with current research and developments in theatre practise you will have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department. You will be responsible for ensuring the continual cleanliness of the theatre and equipment. This role will enable you to develop and execute the correct procedures for ordering, receiving and transfer of blood and blood products as well as blood conservation.
It goes without saying privacy and confidentiality are key throughout the team and you will act as an advocate for the patient in the intra-operative phase and be responsible for “total patient” care in the perioperative phase
